The M'zab (Mozabite: Aghlan, Arabic: Mzāb) is a natural region situated in the northern Sahara Desert within Ghardaïa Province, Algeria. Located approximately 600 km (370 mi) south of Algiers, this historic area is home to around 360,000 inhabitants.
