Musée Matisse

Located in the 17th-century Villa des Arènes in Nice's Cimiez neighborhood, the Musée Matisse is a municipal museum dedicated to the work of French painter Henri Matisse.

Opened in 1963, the museum houses one of the world's largest collections of his art, allowing visitors to trace his entire artistic journey from his early beginnings through to his final works.
