The Museum of Cycladic Art (Nikolaos P. Goulandris Foundation) in Athens houses one of the world's most significant collections of ancient Aegean and Cycladic artifacts.
Founded in 1986, the museum originated from the private antiquities collection assembled by Nikolaos and Dolly Goulandris starting in the early 1960s.
Highlights:
- Extensive Collection: Over 3,000 items of Cycladic and Ancient Greek art.
- Architectural Heritage: Housed in a modern main building designed by Ioannis Vikelas and the historic, neo-classical Stathatos Mansion at the corner of Vassilissis Sofias Avenue and Herodotou Street.
