Samursky National Park (Национальный парк «Самурский») is located on the west coast of the Caspian Sea at the eastern extent of the Greater Caucasus Mountains in Dagestan, Russia. Established in 2019, it protects both terrestrial and near-shore marine ecosystems.
The park is divided into two distinct sectors:
- Coastal Sector: Located on the delta of the Samur River, famous for supporting a rare temperate-subtropical liana forest.
- Mountainous Sector: Includes Mount Bazardüzü and the southernmost point in Russia.
